CLAVERING PARISH CHURCH WAR MEMORIAL, NORTH AISLE, North wall An engraved brass plate mounted on wooden backing with convex moulded edged frame. The brass plate is decorated in scroll pattern to form a pointed trefoil arch enclosing the inscription. The brass is fixed to the wood backing with 2cm. conical brass screws. A red cross is engraved and enamelled in top trefoil, beneath this is a dedication engraved in roman capitals. |

CLAVERING CHRISTIAN CENTRE WAR MEMORIAL The village war memorial is an obelisk in the front of the churchyard at the former Clavering Congregational, now known as the Christian Centre. It is pictured right following cleaning in 2011, at the Remembrance Day Service, with Royal British Legion veteran, Jack Livings and the then parish council chairman, Rebecca Stanford. |
